When granddaughter Alicyn (another October baby) was born, we left the next day for AZ and I didn't see her again until she was six months old. I'll be around all through this baby's infancy. I think I'll get plenty of rocking chair time :-DAnnie*s Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04772261218172078099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597627580631284872.post-27318453519426244312013-08-17T17:50:36.670-07:002013-08-17T17:50:36.670-07:00Thank you, Random. At least that's what I've read to do with them...let them grow, then dig them in, then plant. I don't know how that would be managed in one season, so I'd grow, dig, then solarize for 2015. I hope I live that long, with such big plans, LOL!Annie*s Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04772261218172078099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597627580631284872.post-27845078429685398592013-08-17T17:18:37.471-07:002013-08-17T17:18:37.471-07:00Thank you, Sue. If I had another sheet of plastic, I could do two beds this year. I may buy more, because I really think there will be enough hot weather to solarize yet this fall.Annie*s Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04772261218172078099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597627580631284872.post-13140380277383665822013-08-17T16:12:49.315-07:002013-08-17T16:12:49.315-07:00Well, congratulations! What a blessing to be around your grand and great grand children while you are so active and healthy in life :) Touchwood! They do get large and ramble a bit. I used to whack them back occasionally to keep them under control. I haven't grown them since I quit growing tomatoes though. Though the nematodes aren't gone, they have been much better since then.Daphne Gouldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17305049560953735881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597627580631284872.post-10411979383764072962013-08-17T13:44:36.644-07:002013-08-17T13:44:36.644-07:00Congrats on the upcoming great granddaughter.
