The only heavy crops I'll have coming on now will be the parsnips and tomatoes. I would guess there are over 100 pounds of tomatoes, but doubt that many will ripen in 30 days.

I picked another Savor F1 yesterday. The first leaf had withered, and it was getting soft on the blossom end and weighed 2 pounds...no melon smell, but I have a bad cold so probably couldn't smell it if it did. I cut it open, and it was hard and green inside. I only have three or four more chances to maybe get it right. I still think the aroma is the way to chose, but I don't know why this one was turning spongy.Annie*s Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04772261218172078099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597627580631284872.post-60188499597651962102009-09-15T10:48:56.940-07:002009-09-15T10:48:56.940-07:00Up over 800lbs, that is excellent. Free tomatoes, with a little box for donations. I could probably make enough for next year's seeds. I don't think I could legally sell them in the city, we even have to buy a permit for yard sales here. But I could legally give them away.Annie*s Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04772261218172078099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5597627580631284872.post-80782416060982481332009-09-14T10:29:40.236-07:002009-09-14T10:29:40.236-07:00You need a little tomato stand in your front yard....You need a little tomato stand in your front yard.
