I just planted another round of lettuce seeds the other day and I'm hoping they germinate like yours, though I always plant 2 seeds in one soil block to be sure. This year, all my braccias germiated 2 and needed thinning. Oops. Hate wasting seed that way.<br /><br />I never knew tea worked as a booster. I think I started some of the flowers too early. I had a heck of a time last year with getting it going in the garden and wonder if maybe that was the problem. It was VERY spotty germination. The rows were hardly "rows"--it looked like about 1 in 10 seeds germinated. Guess I can chuck that old seed in confidence.<br />Love your selection of Lettuces...I've not yet tried the Paris Island--is it sweet?
