We're here safe and sound, and it's so good to be back. I have my internet again! I also have a truck filled with household goods to put away, a mountain of laundry, and I'm tired from driving 8 hours today. The rest of our trip, after the bad motel experience, went great. I'll tell you all about it as soon as I find some free time to like actually sit down at the computer. In the meantime, happy Thanksgiving to all of you, and I'll be back blogging real soon.
Yippee!! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family Granny! Luv ya, "The Italian" and Me

Rachel, "rest up" isn't in my vocabulary tonight. I'm still trying to figure out where to put everything, and I'm on my third load of laundry. Dinner was take out pizza though, so at least I didn't have to find the groceries.
********
Mrs. Pickles, I'm looking forward to catching up on your blog! I've missed you :-(
********

Stefaneener, my daughter Amy is doing the family dinner tomorrow. I took the easy route and bought the pumpkin pies at Costco!
********

Sue, it's still home sweet messy home! I have no idea where I'm going to put all of this stuff. I really don't need two of everything, so I think Goodwill (or my kids) will make out quite well this year :-D
********
Daphne, if it's alive, I hope the leaf miners aren't! It was completely unusable when we left.
********
Oh. John....you've put up with me for so many years now, you know you love it ;-)

Mr. H., Thank you. By the way, those slot machines in Jackpot and Ely weren't too unkind to me. I had a lot of fun, and only lost what I'd won when we were in Yuma last month....that's a win-win in my book! Daughter and I are already planning a spring flight to Vegas for our husbands' birthdays.
Happy Thanksgiving. So glad the balance of your trip was uneventful. Am glad I will have your blog to read all winter. The days are rather long here when you are snowed in and it is great to have friends here on the internet.
ReplyDeleteLOL, Wilderness, I don't think my winter blogs will be very exciting....."I washed some mini-blinds and painted the windowsills" type of blog. Or "I had 8 loads of laundry to do today". Boring, huh?
ReplyDeleteWell Granny yours sound about as interesting as mine will be like yesterday. We got 9" of snow spent 2 2/1 hours just moving the snow on the walk to the driveway. Real exciting or maybe in a couple of days I will be able to get out to the road to go to town. LOL
ReplyDeleteWilderness, I had several inches of pine needles, branches and cones all over my front driveway and yard, but I have a darling son-in-law who came over this afternoon and cleaned them all up for me....and he even cleaned them off the roof!
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it! - Thans for changing my link!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the reminder, David! I had changed it in my reader, but forgot to change it in my sidebar.
ReplyDeleteOOOH!!! Cabbage patch! Picking apples! Going shopping! Lawn mower! Running Man! Bat-toosie!
ReplyDeleteI'm dancin', Granny! I'm dancin'!!
Shield your eyes.
I'm glad you're dancin', Ribbit. I'm coughing and sneezing and wipin' my nose. You dance, I think I'll go to bed.
ReplyDeleteYay! You're back!!! We missed you! Welcome "home"!
ReplyDeleteSuch fantastic news to hear about that everything went smoothly with the sale, I'm so happy for you! I bet your family is so happy to have you back home for the holidays too!
