A good garden fork's essential. Unfortunately when we moved to Spain we managed to leave two forks in the UK and had to buy another here! I've never seen a Spaniard use a fork, they tend to use mattocks instead... but they're not the same thing at all!
Hi, Granny. I'm de-lurking to tell you: I love you guys! What a great group montage. ;) I've been following y'all's little gardening blog circuit all winter and I just think you're the best! I'm also grateful to you for the great advice and shared wisdom. I've got my first true season of planting underway and so far so good - thanks in no small part to the blogosphere. Pitchfork on!
Cute collage, Granny! My favorite is Mr. Granny's choice of fork. ;)

ReplyDeleteFrom the tales told, that's the only fork Mr.H get to use.
LOL!
ReplyDelete:>
ReplyDeleteThat's too cute!
ReplyDeleteNice collage! It only needs more people with their forks :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun collection. The kitchen fork is particularly priceless!
ReplyDelete: )
ReplyDeleteI just bent my garden fork today. Piece of you know what. . . I wish I had a real one.
I have fork envy.....It's still not about the size of your fork is it? If so, Mr. Granny and I are in trouble.
ReplyDeleteHahaha...I love it! I have to admit that my old digging fork looks kinda buck tooth at the moment...the tines are all screwed up!
ReplyDeleteI hope your tomatoes will be ok tonight! Do you have any row cover?
Love it! I don't know if I could do without our pitchfork... it was definitely one of the best investments in tools that we've made.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collage! I agree with Dan. More fork pics needed. I will take a picture of mine as soon as the rain stops.
ReplyDeleteI can't stop laughing at Mr. Granny's fork! Great photo of everyone!
ReplyDeleteThanks to all for the comments!
ReplyDelete********
Jan, you need to post a picture of your Spanish garden fork. We need a bigger montage of photos!

********
Stefaneener, we accept members with bent forks to our club ;-)

Ribbit, you and Mr. Granny are in big trouble. I'll bet you wear small shoes, too. You know what they say...small shoes, small fork ;-)
********
Thomas, prove it. I want a picture of your buck toothed fork! C'mon, you want to join the club...you know you do.
********
You too, Judy. We need more members in this garden fork club! Let's see your fork...display it proudly!
********
Robin, I'm looking forward to adding you to the group collage!
********
Erin, you are, sadly, missing. Don't you have a fork? ;-)
Love the collage! I finally got mine up. Wifey was good enough to go out in the rain and snap a photo!
ReplyDeleteVillager, please tell wifey I said thanks! You are now a full fledged member of The Garden Fork Club ;-)
ReplyDeleteOne spading fork is never enough, back to back, two will separate the most stubborn clumps of perennials.
ReplyDeleteLove it!!
ReplyDelete(chuckle) love your post.
ReplyDeleteI have several fork, all have different uses and I need every one of them.
Great collage! Made me smile. I have only one garden fork and, shame on me, use it less often than my table fork.
ReplyDeleteI think I need to go buy a garden fork now!!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteDon't hate me, but I don't have one! he he!
Shawn Ann, go now. I'll wait for you.
ReplyDelete*Granny taps foot and waits.
