  1. Cute collage, Granny! My favorite is Mr. Granny's choice of fork. ;)

  2. A good garden fork's essential. Unfortunately when we moved to Spain we managed to leave two forks in the UK and had to buy another here! I've never seen a Spaniard use a fork, they tend to use mattocks instead... but they're not the same thing at all!

  3. Hi, Granny. I'm de-lurking to tell you: I love you guys! What a great group montage. ;) I've been following y'all's little gardening blog circuit all winter and I just think you're the best! I'm also grateful to you for the great advice and shared wisdom. I've got my first true season of planting underway and so far so good - thanks in no small part to the blogosphere. Pitchfork on!

I just bent my garden fork today. Piece of you know what. . . I wish I had a real one.

  8. I have fork envy.....It's still not about the size of your fork is it? If so, Mr. Granny and I are in trouble.

  9. Hahaha...I love it! I have to admit that my old digging fork looks kinda buck tooth at the moment...the tines are all screwed up!

I hope your tomatoes will be ok tonight! Do you have any row cover?

  10. Love it! I don't know if I could do without our pitchfork... it was definitely one of the best investments in tools that we've made.

  16. One spading fork is never enough, back to back, two will separate the most stubborn clumps of perennials.
