Do you see something different about these seed packets? They are made from recycled magazine pages!
Urban Farmer sent me the samples, and I thought I'd pass on the information to my readers since I'm all for recycling and reducing packaging waste wherever possible, and I'm sure many of you feel the same.
Urban Farmer uses Eco-Packets to package all its seeds. Eco-Packets are made using old magazines and catalogs that would otherwise go into a landfill.
Congratulations Granny! You are an inspiration to me... Thank you!!!

I love how they make packets out of magazines. Found any interesting articles in them? They ought to use old issues of Urban Farm Magazine then you can try to read the articles while you plant.

ReplyDeleteThanks to all! I'm not sure how the top 50 were picked, maybe from pulling names from a hat, LOL! I'm sure EG would have made the list if he could only learn how to grow potatoes.
ReplyDeleteDaphne, one of them has an article about car repair, another has can-can dancers in fish net stockings, with the word "Curves". The third just has "Bring On" in large letters.
I didn't know quite what to make from that email or that website. It's a nice mention regardless.
