As cold as it is, there's something that warms a Granny's heart......
Alicyn Paige (click on photo to better see that pretty smile).
Tomorrow, Alicyn's big sister Alicia is coming for dinner, and will spend the night. I'm so glad we're back from Arizona, I missed all the grandchildren so much. I'll be even happier when it's warm enough to garden, so I can put them all to work! *wink*
Way too cute! We will not be as cold as you but we will see the same storm tomorrow and Saturday. Can't wait for spring!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the snow! The granddaughter is adorable!! Love the smile.
ReplyDeleteAww she is so adorable!! I'm glad you're back 'home' too! I can't believe how cold it's gonna be for you. bleh!
ReplyDeleteI was in shorts and a tee shirt raking leaves today. *ducks and runs for cover! :P
Oh yea, nice bag of crap btw. I was cracking up over the breast pump comment... hehe
Hugs!
~Wendy
She is absolutely adorable!
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable-such a smile! And does SHE do garden work too? Never to early to "hook" another one!
ReplyDelete:D
She's one beautiful little girl!! My little guy hates his picture taken and always closes his eyes and won't smile for the camera.
ReplyDeleteIf I had grandkids I so wouldn't leave them. I'm just hoping when I get them that they will live here.
ReplyDeleteYou've got a beautiful grandchild there. No wonder you were anxious to get back home.
ReplyDeleteYour weather comment sent me running to check out our forecast for the next week. Sorry to tell you -- we're in the low 60's every day.
Isn't it nasty out, 3° here this morning...brr. Cute picture.
ReplyDeleteSo precious!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful grandchild! I am sure she loves your company just as much as you love hers.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time!
Farmer
P.S. I'm sure they don't mind - at all - working in the garden with you! Nice to have gardening helpers.
Liisa, it seems our "storm" isn't going to happen, but it's still going to be really cold tonight, and a slight chance of snow on Monday.
ReplyDelete********
Thanks, Meems. We didn't get more snow, just that light dusting yesterday morning.
********
Wendy, you're mean *Granny throws rotten squash at Wendy*!
********
Thank you, Alison. "Gamma" thinks she's a beauty!
********
Sue, she's my best gardener! Last year she was hauling buckets of compost for me that were almost as big as her! Give her a trowel and a pail, and she'll dig and dump for hours. I'm going to let her plant her very own garden this spring.
********
Robin, Ali sees a camera and begins to pose. It's hard to get a natural shot of her.
********
Daphne, you understand how I miss them when we're gone for months at a time. when we left, Ali wasn't even talking....four months later, she doesn't shut up! I called last night to have her mom show her my blog. She giggled and said "Me on Gamma's glog!"
********
Dianefaith, you stinker! Our night temps are supposed to reach the 30s by Sunday, and "balmy" days of 48 by Monday. That will be good garden cleanup weather, if the wind doesn't blow.
********
Mr. H., I slept in, and it was 15 when I got up at 7:30. Tonight is suppose to be really cold.
********
Thank you, Sherri, we think she's exceptionally precious ;-)
Beautiful girl. Its really hard to stay away from such cute little grandkids kids. I am happy you are back.
ReplyDeleteShe is a real cutie! No wonder you were ready to leave Arizona :o)...I know you'll be glad to get into the garden after all the cold weather your experiencing
ReplyDeleteIt's darn cold here too. its 25 degrees here this morning and not supposed to warm up to much above 30. This is day number two of the unusually frigid February weather but it is supposed to start moving out tonight. Likely a cold and damp week ahead but at least it will not be so frigid.
ReplyDeleteAlicyn is still just darling and growing up so fast!
Awww, how adorable. Maybe some day I'll have a granddaughter, (that will be totally cute) but I'm happy to wait, as my boys aren't even close to ready yet. I have a granddog though! Does that count??? His name is Hank, and he's 7 months old. He's a black lab.
ReplyDelete~~Lori
Lori, of course it counts! I guess I need to blog about my three granddogs, Max, Jake and Kobe!
