    1. Stoney, when I look at it every day, I don't notice how quickly it's growing. It's most notable with the peas and potatoes!

    1. Crystal, it's fun to compare. Some things are so far ahead of last year, others are behind. Some things are growing so quickly, while others are just poking along.

  3. Your potatoes look amazing! Look how everything filled in their beds. I can even see the flowers on your peas.

    1. Phuong, I'm especially happy with those potatoes, since they froze back right after they emerged. It sure didn't seem to hurt them! I picked a snap pea today, the first one. It wasn't mature yet, and it didn't make it out of the garden. It sure did taste good!

  4. Something to look forward to since most of my plants look like your first pictures.

    1. Mrs. R, that magic potion recipe is a secret, a special concoction to make great-grandchildren's pansies grow ;-)

  6. I really should take more photos like that. I like to see the progression. I used to do overhead shots, but the screens are so hard to remove.

    1. Daphne, I love to look back at the photos and do the comparison. Same with harvest dates and yields. My strawberries are a full month ahead of last year's!

    1. Yes it is, Sue! Now, if those peppers would just grow and the replanted corn would come up, I'd like to brag about them, too LOL!

  10. Very nice. I'll use it to inspire me to plant spuds when i get the mountain land. Im thinking due to the altitude, im not terribly far off from planting dates. :D

    1. Cloud, I'm anxiously waiting to hear how your mountain gardening goes. I suppose you will be living in the tent as you build your little house, so I'm glad it isn't the middle of winter right now!

    2. Indeed. Compared to the 18F living in Northern Ohio a few months ago (luckily I had the furry space heater in the bag with me) it will be balmy! Although, summers should be pleasant considering the high altitude. :D

Recently I purchased a GoPro camera. It's my attempt to create better quality videos! First the house and secondly (or most importantly? ) the eventual 4000SF of yummy food production.

    3. Four-THOUSAND SF? WOW! Would that be called a ranch? ;-)
