I just went over 900 pounds from the garden for 2009. Will I hit 1000 pounds? There are still tomatoes to be harvested, as well as carrots and parsnips. My neighbor is picking all the remaining peppers and green beans, but has been told to weigh everything. It should be real close!
I think you'll make it, granny. For me, 400 is within reach, but it's gonna be close! I hope you're feeling better. Can I get a "EG is a big poopyhead" from ya? I've been kinda flat lately. Ha!
ReplyDeleteEG, YOU ARE A BIG POOPYHEAD!!!
ReplyDeleteThere, little guy, did Granny make it all better?
My ear is still popping, and there can't possibly be this much snot in a person. I'm pitiful and disgusting ;-) But ya, I think I'm a bit better. Either that or the drugs are working. (That's Tylenol Sinus drugs).
Wow Granny 900 pounds! Now I have something to shoot for... only 820 more punds to go... well maybe next year :-)
ReplyDeleteLiisa
LOL, Liisa...you can do it girl!
ReplyDeleteGo Granny, Go Granny Go go go. You can do it! What's another 100 pounds?
ReplyDeleteHe he! That's incredible!
Wow, that would be quite the record!
ReplyDeleteI REALLY hope your sinuses dry up for you soon and your ear quits popping!
I am confident you will get there!
ReplyDeleteI'm rooting for you.
ReplyDeleteway to go! If you don't make it, maybe you can grow something 'heavy' to harvest when you get to AZ... it will still count even if it's from 2 places, lol!
ReplyDeleteCan't even imagine having that much produce around my house, frozen, canned, fresh or otherwise! Wow!
ReplyDeleteErin, no-no-no! I'll only have two months of 2009 growing season by the time I get down south. I'm planning on lettuce, spinach and radishes...no weight there! Too bad I never did get a lemon tree to grow.
ReplyDeleteA-mazing. And I'm so sorry about the snot. I know the "there is no way this is reasonable" feeling. Of course, I feel that way about 1000 pounds of veggies, too, so what do I know?
ReplyDeleteI'm rooting for you hitting 1000lbs. You could always start weighting compost too, doesn't that count :-)
