I know a lot of you were with me when my youngest daughter, Amy, gave birth to my youngest granddaughter, Alicyn. Can you believe she's so quickly grown from this tiny newborn to this pretty little girl? I just love this photo of the two of them, so I wanted to share it with all of you.
Annie, Amy, and Alicyn, your family sure does love those A-names! That's a really beautiful picture of mommy and daughter. You should've joined in, so you could have all three generations in one picture!

Meemsnyc, it doesn't seem possible she'll be two in just two months. She calls us "papa and papa...MINE!"
ReplyDeleteMy mom can't get our names straight still, and they're different letters. It's got to be just more difficult with all As. The time just flies. I love me some two year olds. . . it's possibly the best age. Enjoy! Soon she'll be (shudder) three.

ReplyDeleteTHey're so cute at that age! Yesterday I told my 3 yr old that there was only room for one princess in this house and she sorrowfully apologized and said she was sorry for me and I could go ask if I could be the princess at the neighbor's house.

Both Amy and Alicyn are just beautiful. Alicyn is that age where everything is an adventure and it is like being invited to become a child again to spend anytime playing with them and seeing the world through their eyes. So much fun!

ReplyDeleteThanks to all who commented on my "pretty girls". I wish Alicia had been in the photo with her mom and little sister. She just bought her first car (no driver's license yet), and is getting it fixed up for the day when she'll be able to drive, so I'll soon be getting a picture of my girl in the driver's seat ;-)
