January 16, 2013 - There's an App For That!

Granddaughter Alicia took a few funny photos of the birthday kids today (they're five years old!)....

Annie says "OK, Granny, I know you are on a diet.  But do we all have to suffer?"

Otto replies "You think she's starving you?  I've shrunk to practically nothing!"

Annie says "Maybe if I scare her with the old evil eye she'll cook me a hamburger.  With bacon."

Otto says "Well, I'll just double myself and maybe she'll feed me twice."

Photos by Alicia and the iPhone CamWow app.

Happy birthday, Annie and Otto!

    1. 1st. Man, it was the long skinny nosed Otto that really made me laugh! There were some really funny pics of me, too. Unfortunately they looked too "normal", hahaha!

    2. Prior to opening up your post, I had thought the first photo to be a leather boot. Go figure. ;)

    3. LOL, Cloud...Annie says "I do NOT look like an old leather boot. That would be Granny".

    1. Alison, it almost makes me want a smart phone, just to play with the apps.

    1. Annie and Otto said "thank you", Daphne. Actually they didn't really say it, but I know they thunk it ;-)

  4. Hilarious! And the title of your post made me laugh, because I spent literally all day yesterday learning to use an ipad mini which was given to me as an early 60th birthday present. And I haven't learned the half, but did load a lot of apps!

    1. Nutmeg, I might have to give in and buy something that lets me play with apps. Then I won't get any housework done!

  5. Very funny, Granny! Tell the kids happy birthday from Iowa and that I would feed them and love them and let them run free out in the fresh country air. :)

    1. Oh, Langala, if those "kids" of mine ate any more, they'd not be able to waddle in and out of their pet door! You just want to rescue something...admit it.

      Annie says send birthday cake.

    2. When babies are so abused, I feel I have to rescue them. "Hold on, Annie, cake is on the way!"

    3. Is that why she's sitting at the front door, wagging her tail and refusing to move?

    1. Nancy, they're both little fatties, so no cake this year. I really do have the entire family on a diet, LOL! They did get lots of extra hugs and loves though :-)

    1. Gardener, it's probably a good thing I don't have a tablet or iPhone. I could waste way too much time playing with the apps!
