    1. Snow is forecast for tonight, but we've just had tiny amounts that only show up on the bare garden soil. You guys back east have sure had more than your share this winter!

    3. Oh, nooooooooooooooo!! Haven't you had enough? It's cold here, 23F this morning and expecting it to go much lower later in the week, but at least we haven't had any snow or icy roads to deal with. I can handle the cold, but I'd be housebound with all that snow. I can drive on ice, having done it most winters, but there's about 75% of the people in this community that have no idea what driving on slick roads is like. They scare the beecheeses out of me on dry, sunny days!

    1. Cloud, we usually have mild winters here. Not as mild as the east side of the state though, much drier and colder. I hope this extremely cold winter kills off some of the bad bugs!

  4. Brrr. We had a nice weekend. We got to 47 yesterday and 53 today. It was nice after a long cold spell. I just wish it would last a few more days, but it is going to go down here too.

    1. Daphne, we had some days in the 40s and 50s last week too. I'm not looking forward to a high of 14F or a low of 6F!

  6. Never mind the weather, Granny, you just won the Super Bowl! Congratulations! I was cheering long with you! That was a totally satisfying game and halftime show. More than satisfying actually. Mars took me to the moon and the peppers kept their socks on. What are you going to do now? Go to Disney World? :-)

    1. YAY! Mrs, R.! Nothing but praise for Bruno. Luckily the RHCPs performance was short and didn't take too much away from the REAL STAR OF THE SHOW :-D What am I going to do now? Wash the dishes and mop the floor. I dumped one of the pizzas onto the kitchen floor as I removed it from the oven. It landed right side up, but it was one with extra toppings, some of which slid off onto the floor when it hit. Luckily there were three more big pizzas, so nobody went hungry. We'll eat the "scrambled" one for our dinner tomorrow.

  7. Here in the UK we are blaming the US for our current prolonged spate of bad weather, and I'm sure you are blaming Canada for yours!
