*Sue covets my spinach*
Here ya go, Sweetie!
I picked some of the overwintered Tyee spinach today. A whole sink full!
I was afraid the large leaves would be tough and strong tasting, but they weren't at all. They passed the "raw spinach salad" taste test for tenderness and sweetness.
All washed and spun dry, it weighed in at exactly 1 1/2 pounds. There's lots more where that came from! Maybe I can deliver by drone? LOL!
Amy had her camera on me while I was doing a bit of work in the garden. When I look in the mirror, all I see is thinning hair on the front and sides of my head. I never even thought to get out a hand mirror to look at the TOP of my head! The photos showed massive hair loss, and the chance of a sunburned scalp. It positively glowed in the sun! Probably blinded the neighbor. So I cut off the top of my head (in the photo, of course) so you could see that I do actually get out to do a bit of gardening. Then I finally gave in and put on the little grey knit cap. My head is very small. My head looks like an egg on a neck. Maybe I should stuff the cap with newspaper :-)
