Happy spring, glorious spring, Cheryl! I even got in a day of cleaning out flower beds before it got too gray and windy. I use that term loosely...I had five flowers blooming in that bed, and a tangle of rose bushes to prune.
EG, that's the variety...King Alfred daffodils. They are quite large, but I don't think they are as pretty as the smaller ones. I have some with white, too....I'll "send" you a bouquet as soon as/if they bloom!
Nice Daf's. Ours are just an inch out of the soil still. We have had the spring rain all we need now is a few warms days to get them popping. Cheers to Chiot's Run, there is always something interesting happening over there.
Those daffodils are beautiful, Granny....however I'm sure they're insignificant in comparison to NEW PICKS OF THAT BABY GIRL!!! How long have you been back now? You're witholding valuable pictures from us. I'm sure she's growing like a weed. Ribbit
Dan, Those were my first blossoms of the year, and they coincided with the post on Chiot's Run today, so it just made sense to send her a bouquet. I wish I had more flowers, so I could send a bouquet to all of my readers! You are all precious and important to me.
Georgous daffodils. That tells you spring can't be too far away.
ReplyDeletep.s. Thanks for the info on the soil blocker. It went much better after I looked at the video.

ReplyDeleteNo fair....your daffodils look prettier than mine! Did you paint them? Hee Hee...Really, yours are entirely yellow, and mine have white mixed in.
