4. Thanks, Momma_S. I was trying to get photos in the dark last night, but I couldn't see what I was doing! So I decided to set the camera right down in the garden and see what happened...I liked them!

  5. Makes me want to wave my antennae around.

  6. Stefaneener, just be careful. You're antennae might run into Daphne's but! ;-)

Mac, me too. I haven't had much to photograph this winter. we used to do a lot of desert runs, but we ended up just staying put this winter.

Fly on in, The Mom! Although my Arizona pickin's are rather slim and hard to come by.

  11. Wow Gran, your greens look perfectly healthy without a blemish on them! I guess the bugs haven't been bothering your garden lately.

  12. Thanks, Dan. I decided not to harvest any leaves this week, but let them grow a bit more.

Thomas, as I was photographing them last night, the oddest looking (big) fly crawled lazily out of one of the spinach plants. I don't think it was one that begets leaf miners (I had tiny flies in the house from the tomatoes), but I sure didn't like the looks of him. I hope miners don't get to my lovely, pristine greens.

  14. You make me want to be a bug.:) I just read Stefaneeners last post and saw that she mentioned your carrot planting method so I stopped by and looked it up. How neat! You are so smart, what an excellent way to plant little seeds, I may have to try that. This is why I like this whole blogging thing, so many fascinating people with such interesting ideas...I learn something new every day.

  15. Zach, it's really a tiny garden. It is nice to have a salad or two each week, though.

Mr. H., all the seeds in this AZ mini-garden were glued onto strips of toilet tissue!

The link leads to the very beginning of the mini-garden. I later added a small bed of carrots, beets and spinach. I am most impressed with the way the carrots grow from these seed mats. Germination has been excellent (in hot or windy weather I do cover them with a board until germination takes place). If I want baby carrots, I glue the seeds 1" apart in all directions, and pull every other one. For my main crop I glue them 2" apart, and there is no thinning (or waste) at all!

  16. Your lucky I am NOT a bug (or but, or butt?!) as I would be chomping on those lucious looking greens!

Well, maybe I am a butt sometimes! LOL! ;D

  17. Kitsap, you're never a but or a butt, and you can chomp my garden any day! Just watch out for Stefaneener's antennae ;-)

  18. All of your lettuce looks just delicious and the carrots....I just love carrots. I have not had much success growing them.

  19. Noelle, surprisingly the carrots have been one of the easier veggies for me to grow here in AZ. They are, however terribly slow to mature. I'm sure I'll be leaving these for my neighbors to eat after we head back to WA.

  22. Ach! I can't believe I've missed out on the "but" jokes. Too late now, I suppose, but I bet those bugs were "doin' the 'but'. Awwww sexy, sexy."

It was a song, Granny. I swear it was a song....Yes, Ma'am. I'll go to my room now.

  25. I must say that first picture of the chard (is it chard?) did make me a little peckish!

  26. I'm just not going to call you The Idiot Gardener. It's not that it makes me feel a bit rude, although it does, but it's more because that's too much to type before I've had my first cup of coffee! From now on, I hope you don't mind if I call you TIG. TIG, those are beets in the first photo. I am one of the few people on earth who has never grown, nor eaten, chard.

  27. The business supplies a solitary mua hang gia re tphcm for every day in each and each and every of the marketplaces it serves. The Groupon performs as an assurance arrangement using ThePoint's technique: if a certain quantity of people indication up for the offer you you, then the offer turns into supplied to all if the predetermined the very least is not fulfilled, no a single gets the deal that operating working day. This lowers chance for suppliers, who can deal with the coupon codes as amount discounts as properly as item revenue advertising and marketing assets. Groupon helps make resources by maintaining around fifty percent the funds the buyer pays for the coupon.

For example, an $eighty therapeutic therapeutic massage could be acquired by the purchaser for $forty by way of Groupon, and then Groupon and the retailer would split the $40. That is, the retailer provides a therapeutic massage valued at $eighty and receives all around $20 from Groupon for it (underneath a fifty%/fifty% split). Or, if $240 nicely worth of home painting companies is obtained by the consumer for $fifty via Groupon, then the business gets $twenty five and Groupon retains $twenty five. The consumer will get the therapeutic massage, or the residence portray support, in these examples, from the retailer for which they initially compensated $forty (or $fifty) to Groupon. There are certain organizations to which Groupon at first did not offer its solutions, which includes having photos ranges and strip clubs nevertheless, capturing ranges have been showcased on Groupon.

As opposed to labeled marketing, the merchant does not shell out any upfront value to participate: Groupon collects private knowledge from inclined buyers and then contacts only those buyers, mostly by working day-to-day e mail, who may possibly most likely be intrigued in a distinct answer or services.

Groupon employs a massive quantity of copywriters who draft descriptions for the offers showcased by e-mail and on the net internet site. Groupon's marketing and advertising textual content for the 'deals' has been observed as a contributing facet to the reputation of the net web site, showcasing a distinct blend of comprehensive truth-checking and witty humor.

Owing to Groupon's marketplace location becoming mostly composed of female purchasers, the bargains are usually targeted on the well being, physical fitness and splendor marketplaces.

There are possible problems with the organization design and style. For instance, a effective deal could briefly swamp a modest group with also a lot of customers, jeopardizing a likelihood that customers will be dissatisfied, or that there won't be satisfactory solution to satisfy up with the desire. Hole, a massive clothes retailer, was all set to deal with 445,000 discount codes in a countrywide deal (even although it seasoned server problems at a one situation), but a far more compact company could switch into suddenly flooded with consumers. One certain espresso retailer in Portland, Oregon struggled with an improve in clients for three months, when it marketed near to 1,000 Groupons on the a single working day it was offered, in accordance to 1 report. In reaction to comparable problems, Groupon officers problem that 'deal' subscriptions need to have to be capped in progress to a realistic amount.
