When I wrote about the new grandpuppy, Lola, yesterday, I didn't mean to imply she lived with us. Lola and Kobi both belong to my youngest son. Max is son John's dog, Jake and Jasmine belong to my youngest daughter, Amy. Only Annie, Otto and Cookie live with us. The rest of them are welcome to visit and get some spoiling, then we send them home.
Daughter Amy walked in today and said "Mother, why do you have a laundry basket full of lettuce on your counter? Nobody has their laundry basket filled with lettuce!" What can I say, I'm ...............
Tell her to take some home and share with her neighbors :o)...you can't just throw it away ;o)
ReplyDeleteGinny, it won't get wasted, that rabbit of ours has a voracious appetite! We're eating a lot of BLTs, too...with lots of L.
ReplyDeleteYes. Definately. Mrs. Lettuce , you've outdone yourself.....a laundry basketful? Holy crap!

Sue, there was more, but it wouldn't fit in the fridge :-( Birds ate the new planting yesterday, so I'm ripping out the older stuff and will reseed it.
ReplyDeleteOh Mrs lettuce if you reach 100lbs of lettuce this year I think I will send you a medal!!
ReplyDeleteDear Mrs. Pickles, I don't think I'll get close to 100 pounds, but 60 pounds is doable. I'm at 53 right now.
ReplyDeleteYou are too much Granny! I'm so happy that you didn't post that real pic of me!
ReplyDeleteRobin, you mean the one in your sparkly hooker's outfit?
ReplyDeleteI'm just surprised you only have ONE laundry basket of lettuce.
ReplyDeleteYou're slackin' off, my friend. ;)
Ribbit, I only had one laundry basket to put it in ;-)
