August 23, 2011 - This Place is Going to the Dogs!

Granddogs Lola and Kobe came for a visit this morning. Lola has never been here, and they live in an apartment so she's not familiar with that green stuff we call grass.

  1. I'm so glad you posted these pictures proud Granny! I was just going to show "The Italian" the picture link you sent and you said you deleted them.

    That's one precious little puppy!

  2. Robin, I couldn't get the photos to go in order in Photobucket, so I just made them into a movie and posted it to YouTube. Isn't she precious? She's soooo tiny, they think her mother is part chihuahua and part dachshund. Her mouth is huge though (the little chin sucker), do you suppose her father could have been a pit bull? LOL!

  8. She is such a wee little thing! So darling. I got a kick out of the picture with her and Annie and Otto standing together. They look like they are giving her advice!

  9. Thanks all. I'm glad I could make Mrs. Pickles smile, yes that's alyssum she's standing in, and no I'm not going to get one, I'll just borrow her when I need me some puppy love.

I didn't let her give me another chin hickey and Annie and Otto didn't think she was a mouse or a small rabbit, so she didn't get poked or chased. Actually I think they rather liked her. Her "big brother" Kobe would just as soon she went away.

She's beginning to eat real food thinned down with milk, and she's just now getting a couple of little puppy teeth, so we're thinking she's about 5-6 weeks old.

Kitsap, I think Annie & Otto were saying "If you poop on our lawn, you're gone....in one bite".

  10. Ohhh how cute. The grass is taller than the puppy. Our neighbors got a new puppy the other week. I really miss having a dog, but not a puppy. Puppies are a pain in the butt but they sure are cute.

  11. What a sweet baby. I sure miss the little puppy stage in my dogs (except for the pooping inside part).
