April 18, 2014 - Meet The Great-Grands

You are all familiar with Great-Granddaughter Amaya, because her grandmother cannot stay away from the camera.  And, of course, she's good about emailing all of them to us.  So I got on the others in the family to send me some updated pictures.

Meet the Great-Grands!

The youngest, at six months, Amaya with her mother, Alicia. Her grandmother is Amy.

Bryson, age 1. and Remington, age 4.  Shayna's children, Shannon's grandchildren.

Cambri is 4, and Carter is 6, Jared's children, Shannon's grandchildren. Their father is stationed on the east coast, but in the process of being transferred to Ft. Lewis, here in WA State.

  1. I love your pictures! I helped with my grandkids today. The little one is now 4 weeks old and growing like a little weed. We had to make a diaper run and while I was there I stopped for coffee. I asked for the grandparent price and got it! If she really knew how young I really am, she would have laughed at me. My mom said, with all that grey hair you have, she probably thought you were of "age". I think I wear it well.

    1. Mom at home, you're so lucky! I was walking through the grocery store with Amy, my youngest, who was five at the time, when a teacher approached and said "Amy, introduce me to your grandmother!" I was 35 (by 4 days) when she was born, so 40 at the time :-(

    1. Mrs. R., Only when you have your first grandchildren will you really begin enjoying the little ones . Because when you get tired of them, you can send them home LOL! That's something we couldn't do with our own children.

    1. Daphne, you can only hope you live that long. Luckily, I have. I'm looking forward to catching up with the East Coast Greats when they move back to WA State!

  6. Well we finaly get to meet the entire clan. Great pictures! I love the old style one with the old toys. Keep the pictures of the grands comming I love it. They are what life is about. I can just feel their energy. My granddaughter picked up a Bobo at the bowling aley Friday. She droped a ball on her ring finger and broke it in two places. It hirt her so much she fainted in Nana's arms. She is fine now Very clean breaks that will heal fast, but the fingers have so many nerves that they are still real sore. The dock said she did not even need the splint on the finger but it makes her feel better with it on and helps cushon it from bumps. No bike racing for a few days though. Hope the kids have some easter egg hunts to go to so they can enjoy tomorrow. We will talk again soon.

    1. Frank, a couple of your grandchildren have taken hard knocks this past year, but I'm assuming your grandson's black eye was less painful than broken fingers!

Amy was boiling eggs for Alicyn to color today. She and her BFF and neighbor will have an egg hunt tomorrow.
